Cheyenne was our first Rocky Mountain Horse AND our first ever foal! God blessed us with an easy going colt that was willing to take instruction from a couple of "green horns". Cheyenne was shown for the first time in October 2003 at the Plantation Classic in Dillsburg and placed first or second in all of the classes in which we entered him, taking a first place in the first class he had ever shown! He also won the championship trail pleasure at the MATWA show in April 2004. We continued his show career in 2004 successfully through 2006 and some during this spring where he placed first and second in his classes even after a year break in training. Cheyenne has performed well in various show seasons placing first in many of his classes (even with me an amatuer) riding him. One of Cheyenne's offspring DBLCRKs Jacob Hidden Treasure went on to the show ring in his fathers footsteps and was well on the way in his career as a trail pleasure champion when he was purchased and now just enjoys riding the trails, showing the versatility of Cheyenne's get. If you want an excellent foal for show or tail with the willingness and loving temperament, Cheyenne is the sire that will put you well on your way.

We raised Cheyenne from birth. Here is a photo of Cheyenne at 3 months with his Dam, Hope Spring's Pepper. Surprising that he turned black isn't it?

Cheyenne comes from very good bloodlines; tracing back to Chocolate Venture , Classic Farm's Dock and 3X Tobe. Johnson's Toby bloodlines can be found on the Dam's side. He is black with three white socks and has an excellent temperament and gait. He has the classic 4 beat gait the Rockies are known for and is one of the smoothest rides we have ever had on any horse! Cheyenne also has an extremely long flowing mane that grows very quickly. He has passed this trait on a number of his offspring as well.

Cheyenne also passes his gliding gait to his foals. He is available for breeding at a stud fee of $450.00 plus $9.00 a day mare care. He is normal eyed (aa) and is a real gentlemen with the ladies. We now offer AI for the price of the stud fee indicated above plus transportation, collection and shipping fees. Discount available for multiple bookings or early bookings for 2010 through 12/31/2009. (Live Foal Guarantee) chey7
